Sarse Gallagher was born in Country Tyrone, Northern Ireland and has lived in Partington, Greater Manchester since the mid-Fifties. For paid work he drove a tanker and was an active trade unionist during his working life. He took part in the Lifetimes project, in which he got to document some of his life story, along with his wife Sally Gallagher.
