Sheila Parry

Sheila Parry has written poetry for over fifty years. She writes ‘not for my living but for my life’. She trained as a teacher, gaining her degree as a mature student. After retirement she gave private tuition, led drama workshops, tutored WEA classes in writing and literature and worked for Oxfam. She has been a member of Chester Poets and the Chester Literature Festival committee and has enjoyed taking part in public readings in the north west.
