Doris Sydenham

Doris Sydenham spent most of her life raising a large family, before finding the time to focus on poetry. She lived in Wythenshawe, where she was part of the local writing group. Her autobiography was serialised over several issues of Write On, Commonword’s now-defunct magazine of new writing, as a record for her children.
