Ray Ede joined Northern Gay Writers in 1982, soon after its formation. He found the experience of discussing work by other gay writers beneficial and believes this helped to give direction to his own writing. In 1986 he was married and much of his writing examined relationships involving women and gay men. We do not hold any current information about this writer.
