Debjani Chatterjee was born in Delhi, India in 1952 and now lives in Sheffield. She is a British Indian poet, writer, storyteller and creative arts psychotherapist. She has had about 70 books published, and writes for both children and adults. She has been a Royal Literary Fund Fellow at three northern universities, and is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
