Di Williams (d. 2015)

Di Williams was from Whalley Range Manchester, and started writing during adolescence. She had been a teacher of adult literacy, and started coming to Womanswrite workshops in
Commonword in 1982. She was also a musician and songwriter. She was also a member of Northern Gay Writers. Commonword published her pamphlet of poetry, Hermit Crab, as part of its Tighfisted Poets series. Di was known as Diana Moussa. She was 64 years old at the time of her death.
